Standard Dosage: 1-3 g twice daily with honey or warm water, as per AFI
Bioavailability: Volatile oils (cinnamaldehyde, 1,8-cineole) are rapidly absorbed through GI mucosa. Aromatic compounds enhance gastric motility and improve absorption of co-administered formulations. Acts as a bioavailability enhancer when used as adjuvant.
Optimal Timing: After meals as digestive adjuvant, or mixed into Rasayana formulations
Shelf Life: 2 years from date of manufacture as per ASU guidelines for Churna preparations
Storage: Store in airtight containers in a cool, dry place. Volatile oils dissipate if exposed to air. Double-sealed packaging recommended. Temperature not exceeding 25°C.
