Sand Bath Apparatus
Sand Bath Apparatus (Sanskrit: Valuka Yantra) is an instrument used in preparation and pharmaceutical equipment. A vessel containing sand in which another smaller vessel (containing the material to be heated) is placed. The sand distributes heat evenly and prevents direct flame contact, providing gentle and uniform heating.
