Cytokinins present in fresh coconut water have moderate oral bioavailability (~40-55%) due to partial first-pass metabolism. Processing (heat, pasteurization) degrades growth-promoting factors and reduces cytokinin content significantly.

Optimal Timing: Best consumed fresh; as a supplement taken between meals or post-exercise for rehydration. Morning intake on empty stomach for metabolic benefits.

Standardized Extract: Standardized spray-dried coconut water powder containing minimum 15% potassium, 2% sodium, and detectable cytokinins (trans-zeatin >0.01 mg/g). Freeze-dried premium grade retaining >90% original electrolyte profile and enzymatic activity.
