Dosage forms and preparation
Dosage Forms: Arka (distillate), Liquid drops (modern)
Standard Dosage: 12 to 24 ml twice daily after meals, as given in the Ayurvedic Formulary of India, Part I, entry 2:1. The formulary attributes this formula to Arkaprakasa, Sataka 3: 7.
Optimal Timing: After meals (Bhojana-uttara), twice daily
Storage: Store in well-closed amber glass bottles in a cool place. Protect from direct sunlight. Temperature not exceeding 25°C. Shake well before use.
