## Dosage forms and preparation

**Standard Dosage:** 6-12 g twice daily or as directed, as per AFI

**Bioavailability:** Ghee base enhances absorption of [flavonoids](/reference/flavonoids/) and phenolic acids from [Changeri](/herb/changeri/). Lipid matrix protects acid-sensitive compounds from gastric degradation. Oxalic acid content is moderated by ghee processing.

**Optimal Timing:** Before meals or as directed, typically for atisara (diarrhea) and grahani (IBS) conditions

**Shelf Life:** 2 years from date of manufacture as per ASU guidelines for [Ghrita](/herb/ghrita/) preparations

**Storage:** Store in airtight glass or tin containers in a cool, dry place. Protect from moisture and light. Temperature not exceeding 25°C.
