**Standard Dosage:** 5-10 mL orally once daily; externally as required, as per AFI/classical texts

**Bioavailability:** Rich in oleic acid (omega-9) which provides excellent absorption. Fat-soluble [vitamins](/glossary/compounds-t-z/#vitamins) (E, A) are readily bioavailable. Topical application provides direct dermal absorption of [tocopherols](/glossary/compounds-t-z/#tocopherols) and fatty acids. Oral consumption provides systemic lipid nutrition.

**Optimal Timing:** Before bedtime (internal use) or after bath (external skin application)

**Shelf Life:** 2 years from date of manufacture (unrefined cold-pressed); 3 years (refined)

**Storage:** Store in airtight amber glass bottles or food-grade tin containers in a cool, dark place. Refrigeration extends shelf life. Temperature not exceeding 25°C.
